Selcuk Colakoglu, director of the Ankara-based Turkish Center for Asia-Pacific Studies, said China has a successful development model that significantly benefits its people.

"The Chinese government and also the Party (CPC) have outlined a scheme for a successful economic development model for its people, and this development model first paved the way, creating new jobs and economic opportunities for people, and also (achieved) poverty eradication. So far, China has provided good examples, particularly in poverty eradication and increasingly building a very large middle class, and also sharing this developmental income with the large masses of people."

Colakoglu noted that China's development model serves as a roadmap for other developing countries on their path to modernization.
