This is the exciting moment tourists enjoyed a high-speed ride on a waterslide in Thailand.

Shintia Zhou and her friend sped down the 200ft (61-metre) high slide at Andamanda Phuket Waterpark in the Kathu district of the island.

Point-of-view footage shows Shintia sitting at the front of the raft, with her companion behind her on May 12.

The woman could be heard screaming throughout the ride, while the man laughed at her reaction as they navigated the Cobra Curls slide.

They then entered an enclosed tube for a few seconds before emerging onto an open section of the slide.

Moments later, a resort worker in a raincoat received them at the finish line and helped them out of the raft.

The man can be heard saying in the video: 'Well, well, well, isn't that fun?' before helping Shintia stand up.

Andamanda Phuket Waterpark is a sprawling themed destination covering nearly 10 hectares on the popular holiday island.
