Japan: Record Rainfall Triggers Flooding Across Greater Tokyo Area
On July 10, 2025, record rainfall over 100 mm per hour caused severe flooding in Tokyo and surrounding regions. Roads were submerged, rivers reached flood levels, and emergency alerts were issued.
