Swarm of bees found on parked motorcycle in Thailand
This is the bizarre moment bees swarmed on a parked motorcycle in Thailand.
The vehicle was briefly left on the roadside as the driver ran errands at a market in Surat Thani on July 7.
When he returned, he found the cluster of bees crawling all over the right side mirror.
Footage shows the driver using incense smoke to drive away the buzzing insects.
He said: 'I was away for just a few minutes, so I was shocked to see that the bees had already completely covered the side mirror in that time. Luckily they weren't too aggressive, and I was able to make them leave by lighting incense.'
Bee swarming is believed to be a natural reproductive behaviour as the bee colony splits, with the queen leaving with a contingent of worker bees to form a new colony. The swarm temporarily clusters while scouts search for a new suitable nesting site.
