Sneak out solo to hit golf balls at the range without triggering a meltdown from their 3-year-old son, who’s obsessed with tagging along.

In a hilarious twist, the dad layered his work clothes over his golf gear, hoping to fool his son into thinking he was heading to work. The plan worked — almost. As he slipped out the door, the toddler called out, “I’ll track you, Dada,” sending the couple into fits of laughter.

My husband drives for UPS, but it was a Sunday, no work for UPS drivers Sunday and he wanted to go hit some golf balls at the range to blow off some steam from the busy work week. Our 3 year old son is obsessed with golf and always likes to tag along. 99% of the time my husband takes our son, but he just wanted to go solo for a few hours. I asked him how he planned to get out of the house without causing a huge tantrum and next thing I knew he was putting his work uniform on OVER his golf clothes hoping our son wouldn’t suspect. He got out without a tantrum but our son definitely was on to him. He said “I’ll track you dada” to make sure he was really going to work on a Sunday.
