VARIOUS OF ISRAELI FLARES IN SKIES OF NORTHERN GAZA (NIGHT SHOTS) GAZA, PALESTINE - JULY 15, 2025: Israeli forces launched flares over several areas in northern Gaza overnight on Tuesday, July 15, including Jabalia, Beit Hanoun, and Beit Lahia. The flares illuminated the skies above the densely populated regions, where tensions have remained high amid Israel's military operations and a deepening humanitarian crisis. Rejecting international calls for a ceasefire, Israel has pursued a brutal offensive on Gaza since late October 2023, killing nearly 58,400 Palestinians, most of them women and children. The relentless bombardment has destroyed the enclave and led to food shortages and the spread of diseases. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
