Syria - July 16, 2025 The Israeli Air Force, guided by intelligence from the IDF’s Military Intelligence Directorate, continues its airstrikes against Syrian regime military targets in southern Syria. In recent hours, several armored vehicles armed with heavy machine guns and other weapons en route to the Suwayda region were struck. Additional targets included firing positions, weapons storage facilities, and other military infrastructure belonging to the Syrian regime. The IDF is closely monitoring developments in the region, particularly regarding the situation of Druze civilians in southern Syria, and remains prepared for a range of scenarios in accordance with directives from the political leadership.
