Storyline: AI-powered robots have become a major attraction at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference, which kicked off Saturday in Shanghai under the theme "Global Solidarity in the AI Area". A favorite among tech enthusiasts, the robotics displays have expanded significantly since last year, growing from just 18 participating companies to more than 80 this year. What were once static exhibits have evolved into dynamic showcases, with robots now walking, climbing, and even boxing, drawing large crowds eager to witness the latest in motion-enabled AI technology. AI in China is becoming deeply integrated into everyday life, with applications expanding beyond exhibitions to areas like emergency response, tourism, and aviation. That growing impact is on full display at this year’s conference, where more than 3,000 AI-related products and over 800 high-tech enterprises are being showcased. The exhibition spans more than 70,000 square meters -- the largest in its seven-year history --and features over 100 groundbreaking products making their Chinese or global debut in Shanghai.
