North Shore Oahu, United States – A video filmed by Dustin Sciara shows guests sitting and lying on the floors of upper hotel levels following tsunami fears triggered by a major earthquake in Russia’s far east.

Dustin said, “People on lower floors forced to sleep in the hallway on higher floors for safety.”

The footage captures people with pillows and blankets stretched across the corridors, taking shelter through the night in response to tsunami warnings.

The precautionary move came after the powerful quake raised concerns about possible waves reaching Hawaii, prompting guests to seek safety above ground level.
