What began as a celebratory birthday cruise to the Bahamas turned into an uncomfortable ordeal for Melody and her friend after repeated encounters with a man whose behaviour raised alarm.

On the first day of the voyage, the man was spotted multiple times across the ship, consistently staring at the women with a fixed grin and vacant eyes. The situation escalated at the ship’s only nightclub, where he stood at the bar for nearly half an hour, swirling his drink and watching them without engaging with anyone else.

Feeling increasingly uneasy, Melody confronted the man and asked him to stop. Instead of backing off, he approached even closer, invading their personal space and ignoring repeated requests to leave them alone.

The incident unfolded in full view of several bartenders, who, according to Melody, did nothing to intervene and simply smiled once the man eventually walked away.

It’s day one of a Norwegian cruise to the Bahamas, my last celebration of my birthday, throughout the day we kept seeing the same man almost everywhere we went, and all he would do was stare. A creepy grin always on his face with empty eyes. When we got to the only club on the cruise, of course he was there in perfect placement to just stare at us for almost 30 minutes. He just stood there leaning on the bar, swirling the ice in his drink, watching us not interacting with anybody else, but just staring. it was incredibly uncomfortable and there’s no way the bartenders missed that it was happening right in front of their faces when I called him out to stop of course he took that as an invite to come super close into our personal space and still refused to leave after being told multiple times to leave us alone. This entire altercation happened at the bar in front of multiple bartenders who did nothing but watch and then smile once the guy had walked away.
