6. PALESTINIANS MOVING BEHIND OF TRACTOR GAZA, PALESTINE - AUG. 7, 2025: Palestinians suffering from severe hunger rushed to an aid distribution point near the Zikim Border Crossing on Thursday, July 7.

A large crowd gathered in the area as limited amounts of flour and other food supplies entered Gaza and were handed out at the site.

According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, at least 197 Palestinians—including 96 children—have died as a result of Israeli-induced starvation and malnutrition since the genocide began.

The ministry also reported that 51 Palestinians were killed and 230 injured in the past 24 hours while attempting to access humanitarian aid, bringing the total number of Palestinians killed while seeking aid to 1,706, with over 12,030 others wounded since May 27, when the controversial Gaza Humanitarian Foundation began operations.

Gazan authorities accuse the Israeli army of "engineering chaos and starvation" in the enclave by deliberately refraining from securing aid trucks and forcing Palestinians to seek previously bombed and non-restored roads "packed with starving civilians."

The Israeli-crafted aid scheme has been widely criticized as being a “death trap” for starving civilians.

Rejecting international calls for a ceasefire, the Israeli army has pursued genocide in Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, killing over 61,200 Palestinians, most of them women and children. The relentless bombardment has destroyed the enclave and led to food shortages.

Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
