Los Angeles, United States - August 13, 2025 08/12/2025 10:00 pm GMT-0700 NORTHRIDGE, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a call reporting a burglary in progress at a condominium on Vanalden Avenue. The homeowner informed a 911 dispatcher that they could hear someone stepping on glass on the first floor. Shortly after, the homeowner heard the suspect ascending the stairs and attempting to open the bedroom door handle where they were hiding. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a shattered glass door at the residence. The LAPD requested an air unit for assistance, but none were available at the time. The suspects fled the scene before law enforcement could locate them.
