VARIOUS OF MAN CRYING OVER BODIES / PEOPLE AROUNDGAZA, PALESTINE - AUGUST 13, 2025: Israeli forces struck a home belonging to the Abu Duf family in Gaza’s eastern Zeitoun neighborhood on Wednesday, killing 11 Palestinians, local authorities said. The bodies were taken to Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City. After funeral prayers, the victims were buried in a nearby cemetery as grieving relatives bid them a tearful farewell. Meanwhile, Gaza’s Health Ministry said on Tuesday that five people, including two children, died of starvation and severe malnutrition in the last 24 hours, bringing the overall famine-related death toll since October 2023 to 227, including 103 children. Israel is facing mounting condemnation for its genocidal war on Gaza, where it has killed nearly 61,600 victims since October 2023. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
