Phoenix, United States - August 22, 2025 08/22/2025 03:50 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix police and Phoenix Fire Department crews responded to a townhome complex near the intersection of 16th Street and Baseline Road at approximately 3:50 a.m. Officers arrived to find an unidentified gunshot victim. The victim was transported to a local trauma center in unknown condition. While investigating the scene, officers located a blood trail leading them to a townhome east of where the victim was located. Verbal commands were issued, ordering any occupants to exit the residence. An officer was seen running towards the residence with a ballistic shield and a battering ram. A short time later, officers were seen entering the residence. It is unknown if anyone was found inside. Officers established a crime scene around both the parking area where the victim was located and the nearby townhome. No additional details have been released.
