Farmer's attempt at live stream selling fails as sandstorm hits his field
This is the dramatic moment a farmer's attempt at a livestream selling melons was interrupted by a sudden sandstorm.
The worker was recording himself to sell Hami melons when gusts of wind battered his farm in Xinjiang, China.
Footage shows the man running to safety as he struggles to continue his broadcast on August 16.
Debris and empty melon bags can be seen flying through the air, turning the farmland into a swirling haze of dust and plastic containers.
The farmer said: 'There had been no sign of the storm before it struck, leaving me completely unprepared for the violent weather that interrupted my livestream.'
