Boy pulls spiky durian from table only for it to land on his face
This is the shocking moment a boy pulled a spiky durian from a table, only for it to land on his face.
CCTV footage shows the youngster grabbing the cardboard box containing the fruit in a dining area in Prachin Buri, Thailand.
As he tugged the container, the heavy, thorny 'king of fruits' slid across the surface toward the unsuspecting child and hit his face on June 19.
His grandfather nearby shouted in shock, prompting his startled mother to rush out and check if he was okay.
In another clip, the durian-loving child can be seen munching on the fruit, with a small scratch on his cheek.
His mother said: 'My son loves durian, and he wanted to eat it at that time, so he tried to pull the box. He is okay now and was not seriously injured from what happened. In fact, he just laughed it off and ate it afterward.'
