The second special event of "Meet China in Africa" was held in Addis Ababa, capital of Ethiopia, on Aug 29, highlighting the deepening partnership between China and the African Union in agriculture. At the China-Ethiopia Addis Ababa Agricultural Technology Training Center, local farmers said that they have gained extensive knowledge from Chinese experts who possess outstanding expertise in agriculture, particularly in grafting techniques. According to China's agriculture ministry, China has established over 20 agricultural technology demonstration centers across the African continent, cumulatively promoting more than 300 advanced agricultural techniques and benefiting over one million small farming households.
