A feisty territorial spat between two Giant Mudskippers has taken the internet by storm, after photographer and storyteller Theresa Graham captured the moment one boldly chased off the other in a dramatic pipe-top standoff.

Filmed along the Cairns Esplanade, the clip shows two mudskippers perched on a pipe when the larger of the two decides it wants the space to itself. What follows is a series of bouncy hops, a theatrical fin tap, and a cheeky tail flick.

Graham, known for her wildlife storytelling and drone photography, posted the video to Instagram, where it quickly gained traction, racking up over 1.6 million views.
