The Maclean Brothers rowed into the Maritime Museum to promote their world record cross-pacific row. Jamie, Ewan, and Lachlan Maclean rowed more than 9,000 miles (7,821 nautical miles) non-stop from Peru, becoming the first team to finish the full crossing from South America to Australia. The brothers endured storms, seasickness, injuries, and a near-disaster when Lachlan was thrown overboard, while raising over £876,000 ($1.81m AUD) toward a £1 million target for clean water projects. They were welcomed by some people with Scottish flags.
