Storyline: The 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) entered its third day in Beijing on Friday, marked by major tech unveilings and more than 20 side events. This year’s fair, themed "Embrace Intelligent Technologies, Empower Trade in Services," highlights China’s push to lead in service trade and digital innovation. On Friday, 63 enterprises and institutions released 100 new achievements at the fair, including China’s first professional photonic quantum computer breaking the thousand-qubit threshold and the first multi-functional unmanned sanitation vehicle. "We're all very much impressed with China's advances in technologies. And I think, for many countries, they come because they see a good potential to develop businesses with China," said Carolina Quintana, director for the Asia Pacific Region of the World Trade Point Federation. Data shows that in the first two days of the CIFTIS, the cumulative number of visitors to the Shougang Park has reached 245,000. New models and new business forms have enabled people to further experience the latest development trends in the global service trade sector. Another highlight of this year's CIFTIS is a variety of rich supporting activities. More than 20 exciting events such as the Candy Carnival and the Tennis Carnival are being held on Friday. The exhibition town at the fair, which blends industrial style with fashion, creates new consumption scenarios such as culture and sports with more immersive experiences. In addition, the CIFTIS is hosting three thematic forums and 18 specialized forums on Friday, including the Global Green Economic Development Forum, to discuss key topics such as sustainable development goals and green economy, green innovation and industrial transformation, and zero-carbon industrial parks.
