Storyline: Witnesses recalled the huge explosion of Israel's airstrike on a Hamas building in Doha on Tuesday. A nearby resident said he heard a loud noise. "I live close, in the west bay. Yesterday, I was checking my emails and I heard a big noise, not really like an explosion, but I thought it was a plane, because often planes pass over this place. But after [that], I received information about the incident," he said. A Brazilian man, who was in Doha on a business trip, said he heard a huge explosion and felt a strong shockwave. "We felt the trembling, we felt the explosion. It was around 15:40, almost 16:00 in the afternoon," he said. "My whole family and friends in Brazil were very worried about it. So, I have to explain to them that it's not something normal here, but we are risking our lives living here," he said. Israel launched an unprecedented airstrike in the Qatari capital of Doha on Tuesday, targeting a building used by senior Hamas officials in what Israeli authorities described as an attempt to assassinate leaders of the group. Hamas said Tuesday evening that the attack occurred while its delegation was discussing a new ceasefire proposal presented by U.S. President Donald Trump.
