US, Phoenix: Mesa Inverness Avenue Double Shooting
Phoenix, United States - September 15, 2025 09/15/2025 02:19 am GMT-0700 MESA, Ariz. – Mesa police and Mesa Fire Department crews were called to The Maddox apartment complex in the 2000 block of East Inverness Avenue to reports of a shooting Monday morning. According to Mesa Police Department Lieutenant Kurt Scanio, officers arrived and located two victims who had been shot. The victims were subsequently transported by Mesa fire personnel to a local area hospital in unknown condition. Police detained several individuals in the apartment complex as they continued to search for an additional possible suspect. Several shell casings were located in the parking lot of the complex.
