This kayaker filmed their heroic rescue of two Cape fur seals that were dangerously entangled in discarded fishing lines.

Filmed at Pelican Point, Namibia, the footage shows the kayaking guide sprinting onto the shore and pinning down the distressed seals.

He then uses a knife to cut free the marine mammals.

"I found one seal entangled in fishing line and another struggling with a thick trawler rope around its neck. Using my paddle for safety, I freed both seals unharmed. It's a privilege to protect Namibia's incredible wildlife and contribute to their well-being," the filmer told Newsflare.
