In Alessandria, firefighters searched for a missing German woman in the Valla stream at Spigno Monferrato. Twenty-seven firefighters were deployed, supported by drones and a helicopter.
In Milan, about 300 children trapped in schools in the Niguarda district were evacuated with the help of an amphibious vehicle.
In Meda, Brianza, firefighters rescued a mother and her daughter trapped in their flooded home. The pair were airlifted by helicopter to safety.
