Luna, an 11-year-old French Bulldog with a spinal injury, has become a TikTok sensation after a hilarious clip showed her flipped on her back, feet in the air, waiting patiently for help. The video, posted by @wylies_foster_fam, has gained over 226,000 views and is melting hearts across the internet.

Luna was taken in as a foster a year and a half ago after being surrendered due to her condition. Diagnosed with IVDD, a spinal injury that left her paralysed in her back legs, Luna arrived skinny, sore, and suffering from a severe urinary tract infection. Her recovery was nothing short of remarkable.

With the help of medication and a custom wheelchair, Luna transformed into a fearless speedster. “She flies in those wheels—taking corners so fast it feels like 90 miles per hour,” her foster mum shared.

Luna is 11 years old and I took her in to foster about a year and a half ago. She was given up due to her condition and had went through a couple homes before coming to our rescue. She is, without a doubt, the most resilient dog I’ve ever met. When she first came into our rescue, her condition was devastating. She had IVDD, a spinal injury that left her paralyzed in her back legs. She was skinny, covered in dirt, and smelled strongly of urine. She had sores all over her legs from dragging herself around, and a severe urinary tract infection so bad that her entire bladder was filled with blood clots. It was heartbreaking.
We immediately got her started on medication and invested in a wheelchair. That wheelchair changed everything. From the very first time she used it, she hasn’t slowed down one bit. Luna flies in those wheels—taking corners so fast it feels like 90 miles per hour. She flips herself over constantly, but what makes her different is how unbothered she is by it. Most dogs panic in that situation. Not Luna. She’ll either lie there patiently or let out a bark that sounds like a goose honking until I come pick her up. The second she’s upright, she’s back to chasing her ball like nothing ever happened.
Luna has taught me more about resilience and joy than I could have ever imagined. Nothing holds her back—not her paralysis, not her past, not even the wipeouts she takes at top speed. She’s proof that life is still meant to be lived to the fullest, no matter what challenges you face.
