EYEWITNESS, YOUNG MAN, SPEAKING TO REPORTER NEAR DESTROYED HOUSE GAZA, PALESTINE - SEPTEMBER 26, 2025: As Israel adds yet another massacre each day to its ongoing genocide in the besieged Gaza Strip, Israeli forces killed 48 Palestinians on Friday in fresh attacks targeting homes and civilians waiting for aid, medics said, as the army continued demolishing residential buildings across the enclave. In a deliberate strike on a family home in the Shati refugee camp in northern Gaza, dozens of Palestinians, including children, were killed and injured. Footage from the scene shows the legs and feet of people trapped under the rubble, and a child being pulled from the rubble amid ongoing search-and-rescue efforts. A young eyewitness described how the neighborhood became a “fire zone” at midnight as missiles struck in rapid succession. He said dozens of people were inside the house at the time, with some still trapped under the debris, calling the attack “a massacre.” Bodies of the dead were recovered during search-and-rescue operations, while the injured and deceased were transferred to hospitals across Gaza City. The Israeli army has continued its genocide in the besieged Gaza Strip since October 2023, killing more than 65,500 Palestinians, most of them women and children. The relentless bombardment has rendered the enclave uninhabitable, pushing its population into famine and disease. Last week, the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory confirmed that Israel has committed genocide in Gaza.
