Lima, Peru - October 02, 2025 The Peruvian National Police (PNP) handed over to Argentine authorities this Thursday Matías Agustín Ozorio, an Argentine citizen accused of being an accomplice to Peruvian Tony Janzen Valverde, known as "Little J," in the recent triple femicide in Buenos Aires. The victims were Morena Verdi and Brenda del Castillo, both 20, and Lara Gutiérrez, 15. Ozorio had been arrested on Tuesday in northern Lima, a few hours before "Little J" was captured in a town south of the Peruvian capital. He was handed over at Callao Airport, where he was transferred in shackles and footwear, dressed in an orange jumpsuit, amid widespread national and international press coverage. The operation included the participation of PNP and Interpol agents, who presented him to the media. There, his Peruvian bulletproof vest was removed and he was given another one from Argentina's National Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DDI). He was then taken to an Argentine Air Force plane, parked a few meters away, for repatriation.
