VARIOUS OF POLICE ARRIVING AFTER EXPLOSION WEST BANK, PALESTINE - OCTOBER 06: The Israeli army blew up the home of detained Palestinian Ahmad Rafeek al-Haimuni in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron. According to reports, Israeli army engineering units demolished the al-Haimuni family building in southern Hebron with explosives in the morning. Israel accuses Ahmad Rafeek al-Haimuni of participating in and financing an attack carried out in recent months. It was reported that the army continued its operations in the area after the demolition and took extensive security measures in the vicinity. At least 1,047 Palestinians have been killed and more than 10,000 injured in the West Bank by Israeli forces and illegal settlers since October 2023, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry. In a landmark opinion last July, the International Court of Justice declared Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territory illegal and called for the evacuation of all settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
