Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley dead at 74. The musician's family confirmed the news in a statement released to Variety. ”We are completely devastated and heartbroken. The Kiss co-founder and guitarist suffered a brain bleed after falling in his studio last month. Frehley spoke out after the incident to cancel a spate of upcoming tour dates, however TMZ reported that he'd been put on a ventilator in recent weeks. Frehley, dubbed the Spaceman and Space Ace, co-founded Kiss alongside Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley and Peter Criss in 1973. He remained with the band until 1982. After forming his own band, Frehley's Comet, and then embarking on a solo career, the New York native rejoined the rockers for a reunion tour in 1996. The Rock and Roll All Nite guitarist first caused concern in September after announcing that he couldn't make a performance in California because he had suffered "a minor fall in his studio" that resulted in a trip to the hospital.
