A video filmed aboard Akasa Air flight QP1599 from Bengaluru to Delhi has gone viral after capturing a disruptive passenger who delayed take-off and allegedly slapped a crew member. The footage, recorded on 20 October 2025, shows cabin crew attempting to manage a visibly intoxicated man who refused to sit down, shouted at staff, and ignored repeated instructions.

The filmer told Newsflare: “You know those days when everything goes perfectly fine… until one person decides to ruin the peace?” The flight, which had boarded calmly with passengers seated and ready for departure, quickly descended into chaos as the man’s behaviour escalated.

Security personnel were eventually called to the aircraft. After a prolonged struggle, the passenger was escorted off, slapping a crew member on his way out, to the shock of those onboard. Passengers began recording the incident, with reactions ranging from laughter to disbelief.
