Saint Lucie, United States - October 27, 2025 Body camera footage released by the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office captures a dramatic arrest following a pickup truck crash on Monday evening. Deputies said the “reckless driver” tore through a busy parking lot and county roads, ramming vehicles before his truck flipped onto its side. In the video, the suspect climbs out of the truck on his own, moments after the crash. He insisted he was a first responder, telling a deputy, “I’m a firefighter. I’m Florida state police. Chill.” The deputy responded with a stun gun aimed at the man, saying, “You’re going to get out (of the vehicle) and lie on the ground.” After exiting the vehicle, the suspect was promptly handcuffed by deputies, ending the dangerous episode.
