Parachute delay during skydiving jump over the pyramids in Cairo, Egypt
On October 29, 2025, in Cairo, Egypt, @vladivals shared a video showing a close call during the annual Jump Like a Pharaoh festival. In the video, the author jumps from a military aircraft and experiences a long delay before the parachute opens during descent but manages to regain control and land safely. The event attracted around 200 skydivers from around the world, who jumped directly over the pyramids.
