Storyline: Stunning autumn scenery fuels tourism across China [Voice_over] Stunning autumn foliage across China is drawing off-peak season travelers that's fueling a sustained boom in the country's tourism industry. In northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, thousand-year-old Euphrates poplar trees have turned bright shades of yellow and orange, creating glittering golden reflections along the Tarim River. Tourists come for the sight-seeing trains, boat tours, camping and off-road vehicle activities making it a popular autumn travel destination. In southwest China's Sichuan Province meanwhile, tourists are flocking to the Huanglong Scenic and Historic Interest Area which has been blanketed by snow, transforming the UNESCO World Heritage Site into an early winter wonderland. Tourists are also heading to east China's Jiangxi Province, where late rice crops are draping the Shangbao Terraces like a golden blanket. The agricultural site allows visitors to partake in traditional farming practices like reaping, threshing, and dehusking. And finally the spectacular Fall scenery at the Nanhu Park in northeast China's Jilin Province is also drawing large crowds with weekends seeing visitor numbers exceed 50,000 per day.
