12. UK PRIME MINISTER KEIR STARMER AND HIS WIFE LONDON, UK - NOV. 9, 2025: The annual Remembrance Day, also known as Remembrance Sunday, was held at Whitehall in Westminster, London, on Sunday, Nov. 9, to honor soldiers who lost their lives during World Wars.

Senior political leaders and officials attended the ceremony, including UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy, Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood, Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves, Attorney General Richard Hermer, Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, and Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey.

Former prime ministers David Cameron, Gordon Brown, Rishi Sunak, and Boris Johnson were also present.

Remembrance Day is observed annually across the United Kingdom on the second Sunday of November to commemorate members of the armed forces who died in the line of duty.

The national ceremony, held at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, features a two-minute silence and wreath-laying by political leaders, members of the royal family, and veterans.
