Storyline: In the aftermath of a suicide bombing in Pakistani capital Islamabad on Tuesday, a senior Pakistani politician condemned the assault as an attack on the nation itself and called for national unity in fighting terrorism. The attack resulted in at least 12 deaths and 27 injuries. The Pakistan Taliban later claimed responsibility for the attack through its official website. "I would rather say that this is not just an attack on the lawyers, it is basically an attack on our institutions. It is an attack on Pakistan. It is an attack on our way of life and our freedom. These are all the terrorists, they want to destroy us. They want to dismantle us. They want to disintegrate us. But I want to give them a message: the politics aside, we are all united against terrorism, no matter what form it is. We all condemn the move. We strongly condemn this.
