TIRANA, ALBANIA - NOV. 12, 2025: Built as a museum during the communist era, Albania’s iconic Tirana Pyramid has become one of the capital’s major tourist attractions with its historical background and scenic views.

The pyramid draws both local and foreign visitors with its distinctive architecture of pyramid form.

Opened in 1988 as a museum dedicated to former communist leader Enver Hoxha, the structure was used for different purposes after the regime’s collapse in 1991.

After a major transformation in 2023, the building was turned into a modern, multi-purpose cultural center. The renovated complex hosts exhibitions, creative spaces, and public events, while its elevated terraces offer panoramic views of Tirana.
