Exclusive- Viral foodie downs 48 eggs for “protein target,” stirring mix of praise and alarm
Mukbang and foodie content creator @nofoodwasted has gone viral after filming himself eating four dozen eggs in his car to reach his daily protein target. The video, posted to Instagram and TikTok, has amassed 171,000 views on Instagram and 111,300 views on TikTok.
The creator explained his intent was not only to meet his protein goal but also to make the video “entertaining and kinda disturbing, so people would engage.”
While some viewers praised the spectacle, others raised concerns about the health implications of consuming such a large quantity. One commenter wrote: “Enjoy your meal, but be aware that this is a large quantity, unhealthy, and offers no benefit. You ate more than you needed just to get views? I advise you to get views from a genuine achievement that benefits you and others.”
