Outside the Crowne Plaza Hotel in West Drayton which is currently being used as a migrant hotel protesters gathered and broke into a chant based on a well known song that they had rewritten with anti migrant lyrics. The group repeated the adapted chorus in unison and the sound carried across the street drawing attention from police officers local residents and passing drivers. The moment stood out from the wider demonstration because of the unusual choice to use a familiar tune and it quickly became one of the most distinctive scenes of the protest as people stopped to listen and record the chant unfolding outside the hotel.
