Mischief-maker Rizzoli has gone viral after pulling down a desk lamp and then dramatically pretending to be hurt. The clip, posted to Instagram by Emily Higgins (@emhig), has now reached 16,300 views.

Rizzoli, described as a “wild basket case of a cat,” is known for interrupting the workday by chewing cords, scratching monitors, or knocking over anything not bolted down. One of his favourite tricks is tugging at the desk lamp—and this time, he succeeded.

The video shows Rizzoli peeking over the lamp, tumbling down with it, and then performing a theatrical paw shake as if injured. Instead of scolding him, Emily rushed over to shower him with kisses and hugs, cementing the moment as both hilarious and heartwarming.
