Yahya Akhzeiq, 27-years-old, connects a mobile phone to a charger as he sits in a converted Israeli military vehicle abandoned by the Israeli army, and now used by the mainly displaced Palestinian communities as a charging point for mobiles and laptops, in Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, in the southern part of Gaza City.

STORYLINE:

Brothers Yahya and Akram Akhzeiq, have set-up a charging point using solar-energy panels placed on the exterior the vehicle's hull, which sits under the concreate of a destroyed building. The majority of Gaza's 2.4 million people have been displaced, often multiple times, by the war that began with Hamas's attack on southern Israel on October 7, 2023. With many displaced living in tent camps, the coming winter is raising serious concerns.
