Palestinian students receive educational lessons inside a historic school in eastern Gaza City
Inside the historic Al-Kamaliya school in eastern Gaza City, Palestinian students sit on the floor to receive their lessons following the ceasefire announcement between Hamas and Israel.
This comes as an attempt to resume the educational process in the Gaza Strip, which was halted by the Israeli war for two years.
During the Hamas-Israeli conflict, Israeli army destroyed 670 schools, 165 universities and educational institutions, and killed 13,500 students and 830 teachers since October 7, 2023, according to Hamas-run government media office.
