US: Squirrel Leaps Into Winter Wonderland In Falling Snow
Campton Hills, United States - December 09, 2025 A tiny gray squirrel delighted viewers in a snowy backyard as it performed a perfect slow-motion leap toward a tall metal bird feeder. Perched on a bare tree branch dusted with fresh snow, the fluffy squirrel launched itself mid-air, its bushy tail fanning out while its paws reached for the feeder. It landed softly in the powdery snow, shaking off flakes like a tiny snow cloud. The squirrel then scurried to the base of the feeder, happily munching spilled seeds as gentle snow continued to fall. Its whiskers and fur sparkled with frost, creating a magical winter scene in a quiet backyard surrounded by evergreens and a black fence. The video, filmed in Campton Hills by Jan Kravitz, perfectly showcases a cozy moment of winter wildlife in action. Kravitz captioned the clip: “This morning, a squirrel in the falling snow at the peanut feeder.”
