Storyline: Innocent civilians are bearing the brunt of the ongoing Thailand-Cambodia conflict as the clashes seem to escalate amid fierce exchange of fire along the border. Violent fighting images circulating on social media appear to show intensifying fightings along the Thai-Cambodian border. Their authenticity cannot be independently verified, though many accounts depict similar scenes. There is growing concern that what began as a border skirmish may now be escalating toward full-scale conflict. With conflicting claims from both sides, casualty figures remain unclear, but both military personnel and civilians are losing their lives. Many areas along the border have been designated "red zones", where the Thai military says fighting could break out at any time, which would involve tank, artillery, or rocket fire. Civilians have been evacuated, and access to the battlefields is now restricted. A small community of roughly a dozen residents located just outside the exclusion zone has been provided with a bomb shelter. "We hope we don't have to leave because we have children and the elderly to look after. But if we must go, we hope the authorities will help us," said Sanoh Chaloo, a local resident.
