Major heating pipeline bursts, flooding roads in Jinan, China
On December 17, 2025 in Jinan, China, @HeGotTheHatStuck shared a video capturing the dramatic scene of a major heating pipeline burst. In the video, the rupture occurred near the intersection of Olympic Sports Center Road and Garden East Road, a busy and densely populated area. The high-pressure leak sent a towering column of hot water and steam over 10 meters into the air, drenching passing vehicles and flooding nearby roads. Thick brown steam forced motorists to stop abruptly, causing significant traffic disruption.
