Kazakhstan: New Year Drift Ends with Christmas Tree Crash in Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan - December 24, 2025 A New Year celebration in Kazakhstan took an unexpected turn after a car enthusiast crashed into a decorated Christmas tree during an illegal drifting stunt in the Turkestan region. According to local reports, the driver staged a nighttime drift show, lost control of the vehicle, rammed into the public Christmas tree, and fled the scene. Surveillance camera footage later helped police quickly identify the offender. Authorities said the driver was held accountable, required to restore the damaged Christmas tree, and his vehicle was impounded. No injuries were reported.
