Staff member removing snow Storyline Snow fell on the well-known Mount Huashan in northwest China's Shaanxi Province on Wednesday, creating a breathtaking scene of silver and white, while the scenic area swiftly mobilized snow removal and de-icing operations to guarantee visitors' safety. The pristine snow blanketed the iconic peaks, enchanting tourists from near and far as they enjoyed the stunning icy landscape. "I visited in March and again at the end of October. Different seasons bring different scenery and atmospheres," said Huang, a tourist. Due to the snow, hiking trails on the mountain were temporarily closed to ensure safety, while the cable cars to the north peak and west peak remained in operation. To prevent accidents, the scenic area increased staffing levels and promptly removed snow and ice from pathways and staircases. "In special cases, we open green channels for the elderly and children, making every effort to ensure all visitors can enjoy their experience safely," said Yang Peng, head of the scenic area's Jinsuo Gate Management Station.
