Deliveroo riders protest in London, UK
Footage of dozens of Deliveroo riders and drivers protesting outside the company's office in Soho, London yesterday, reportedly over changes they fear will lead to lower wages.
According to reports, the takeaway firm plans to pay riders per delivery rather than £7 per hour with an extra delivery fee because they claim it will enable riders to earn even more.
However, the employees fear it will lead to lower wages and are calling for £8 per hour plus a delivery charge, so they took to the streets of London to raise awareness about the issue.
