Rodriguez detailed the objectives at a meeting: to secure the safe return of Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores, to ensure national peace, and to maintain the country's governance capacity. She called for national unity and urged support for domestic production in accordance with existing economic plans. Rodriguez also approved a legislative work agenda for 2026-2031, submitted by the National Assembly. She said the framework aims to safeguard Venezuela's economic sovereignty and ensure the social welfare of its people. She emphasized that despite the illegal armed aggression by the United States, Venezuela maintains diversified international economic relations. She expressed Venezuela's willingness to engage in economic, trade, and energy cooperation with all nations that respect its sovereignty. Rodriguez said that Venezuela is not in a state of war, has not yielded to economic aggression, and will never surrender to any form of foreign aggression. Also on Wednesday, the Venezuelan armed forces held a memorial ceremony honoring the servicemen killed during the U.S. military operation on January 3. The Venezuelan military had previously announced the death of 23 personnel in the attack. [Restrictions: No access Chinese mainland]
