Venezuela: Protests in Venezuela demand release of Maduro couple
Demonstrations took place across Venezuela on Saturday, demanding the release of President Nicolas Maduro and his wife who were abducted by the United States. In the capital Caracas, thousands of people gathered in residential areas near the Fuerte Tiuna military base. Waving Venezuelan national flags and banners reading "free Maduro," they marched along main roads while chanting slogans. On January 3, the U.S. launched attacks on Venezuela, with one of the most intense bombing zones around the Fuerte Tiuna military base. Shotlist: Caracas, Venezuela - Jan 10, 2026: 1.
