Just like home! Edinburgh Zoo's penguins play in UK snow. Members of Edinburgh Zoo's penguin colony was spotted enjoying the snowy Scottish weather this January. In the capital's snowy weather, they were seen eagerly snapping at snowflakes - with little success! In many ways it was the perfect weather for the ice-loving birds, who are native to the Antarctic region and used to playing in snow and ice. The wildlife conservation charity's other animals, including Cipi the sloth bear and Quill the camel, also enjoyed exploring in the snow.
